In the aftermath of Cyclone Ditwah, which severely affected families living in and around the Knuckles Mountain Range, Resfeber Holidays took immediate action to support those impacted by landslides, loss of homes, and disrupted livelihoods. These communities are an integral part of Sri Lanka’s natural and cultural heritage, and many of our curated journeys pass through or are supported by the resilient people who live here.
As a core part of our community support and ethical tourism practices, our team – alongside international partners, past travellers, and local guides – provided essential relief assistance to the affected families. This initiative reflects our long-term commitment to supporting local livelihoods, protecting fragile ecosystems, and ensuring that tourism remains a force for good, especially during times of crisis.
